François Geurds has been inaugurated as a SVH Meesterkok, the highest degree of professional recognition in the Dutch restaurant sector.

AMSTERDAM - Victoria Koblenko has just finished an eleven-course meal. “This really is a culinary orgasm!”

The actress/columnist dined at a Michelin-star restaurant and gave her Twitter followers a blow-by-blow account of every course. At the end of her banquet, Victoria tweeted “Survived an 11-course culinary gangbang. Will now be writing to Michelin to demand they award Ivy an extra star. Phenomenal!”

Earlier, she wrote: “Duck, almond shavings, camomile and cherry sorbet. My mind is blown!” The first four ‘courses’ were actually hors d’oeuvres. “I now realise that there were four hors d’oeuvres. Now we come to the first course: caviar and chocolate!”

At the end of the meal, a fit-to-burst Victoria wrote: “You must do this once in your life. Even if it means eating nothing but dry bread for weeks beforehand!”

From this day forth, François Geurds, of top restaurant Ivy in Rotterdam, is one of the select few who is entitled to call himself an SVH Master Chef. 

His success in this prestigious master test comes just days after Ivy’s impressive feature in restaurant guide Lekker.

Ivy spectacularly broke into the prestigious restaurant guide’s top ten. In the 2011 edition of Lekker, Ivy is number seven in the list.

François Geurds kitchen scores a #1 position the third time in a row.

According to the SpecialBite jury François Geurds directed his restaurant Ivy to an extremely high culinairy level.
The jury summarized the Ivy experience as a 'once -in-a-lifetime culinairy experience which you would like to repeat over and over again.

SpecialBite claimed that the choice for #1 wasn't too difficult this year: Ivy is for SpecialBite again the very clear number 1 of the Netherlands!
